Information we process

VocabSystem stores your account email, display name, vocabulary, review activity, reminder preferences and, when connected, Telegram account identifiers needed to operate the bot.

How information is used

We use this information to provide vocabulary learning, spaced-repetition reviews, account support and reminders. Words may be sent to configured AI, translation and image providers to prepare learning material.

Service providers

VocabSystem uses Supabase for authentication and data storage, Telegram for optional bot features, OpenAI and Google for optional language processing, Unsplash for word images, and the configured hosting provider to operate the application.

Retention and control

Your information is retained while your account is active. You can export your information or permanently delete your account from Settings. Deletion also removes associated vocabulary and review records from the live database, subject to temporary backup retention.

Security

Access controls separate each user’s records. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a unique password and protect your email and Telegram accounts.
